As a Mandarin-Indonesian Site Interpreter, you will be the key translator and communicator on-site, ensuring seamless coordination between the construction team and local partners. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Translate and interpret between Mandarin and Indonesian for all project-related communications.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions between the Chinese construction team and local stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely translation of contracts, reports, and other project documents.
• Provide cultural and contextual support to the construction team, helping them understand local customs and business practices.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring clear and effective communication of updates to all stakeholders.
• Assist in the resolution of any communication or cultural misunderstandings that may arise during the project.
• Stay updated on project developments and provide relevant information to the construction team.
• Work closely with the project manager to ensure all communication needs are met.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Fluent in both Mandarin and Indonesian, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a site interpreter, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction terminology and project management concepts.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using translation software such as Trados, SDL Trados Studio, or MemoQ.
• Valid certification in Mandarin-Indonesian translation or interpretation (an advantage).
• Ability to travel frequently to the project site in Surabaya.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the project.
